About the DirectOut EXBOX.MADI
The EXBOX.MADI handles conversion and splitting between coaxial and optical MADI formats, letting you bridge between different MADI physical layer standards. It is useful for long cable runs where optical MADI is preferred over coax, or for splitting a MADI stream to feed multiple destinations such as a recording rig and a monitor system simultaneously.
