Terms of Service

Last updated: April 29, 2026

By using IEM Rig (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

IEM Rig is a free browser-based tool for designing in-ear monitor and playback rigs. We provide it "as is" and may change, suspend, or shut it down at any time.

Your account

You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Don't share your account, don't use it to do anything illegal, and don't try to access other users' data.

Your content

You retain ownership of rigs, submissions, and other content you create on IEM Rig ("Your Content"). When you publish a rig publicly or submit a gear definition, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service. You can withdraw the license by deleting the content, except to the extent it's already been redistributed via search engines or third-party caches.

Don't submit content that you don't own the rights to or that infringes on someone else's rights, that contains malware, or that violates the law.

Catalog data

The gear catalog combines manufacturer specs, community submissions, and our own research. We make no warranty about accuracy. Always verify with manufacturer documentation before purchasing or wiring real gear. We're not liable for blown speakers, fried interfaces, or missed cues.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can terminate your own account at any time from your account page.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, IEM Rig and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We'll update the date at the top of this page when these terms change. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
