About the BAE 1073MP
The BAE 1073MP is a hand-wired Class-A clone of the legendary Neve 1073 mic preamp — Carnhill input transformer, the Marinair-spec output, and the unmistakable warm low-mid character that defined the mid-70s Trident / Air Studios records. On a touring rig it lives between a stage box and the console for one specific channel — usually lead vox — where the engineer wants a real Neve preamp on the most important input on the show.
Hand-wired Class-A Neve 1073-style preamp. Single channel of the lead-vocal sound.
